Traveling with a YOYO Babyzen Stroller on the Train

Travel with a YOYO Babyzen stroller on the train

I have personally taken the train several times with my son and my Yoyo stroller.

I haven’t had the opportunity to test traveling by train with both my children and both strollers yet. That would be quite an adventure, even with the Yoyos that make our lives easier.

But for those of you who haven’t traveled on a train with a stroller yet, you might have these questions.

How do you travel with the YOYO stroller on the train ?

Do I have to pay an extra fee for the stroller? What about the bassinet?

I’m here to answer your questions 😉

Here’s my experience with the YOYO stroller on the train.

I hope to help you make the right stroller choice.

Happy reading.

How to Travel with a Stroller on the Train ?

As we’ve seen with the YOYO stroller on the plane, once folded, it’s considered as carry-on luggage.

It takes up even less space than a carry-on suitcase, if I may say so.

So you don’t have to worry about any extra fees for your stroller.

Where to Put Your Stroller on the Train ?

Once folded, you can store your stroller:

  • In the overhead luggage rack
  • In the luggage space of your carriage
  • At the foot of your seat

Personally, I often place the YOYO in the overhead luggage rack or at my seat’s foot, just like a small suitcase.

Where to Put the Bassinet on the Train ?

We’ve discussed where to store the folded YOYO stroller on the train, but what if you’re using the bassinet configuration ?

You need to remove the bassinet before folding the YOYO.

But where do you put the bassinet on the train?

For that, I recommend putting the bassinet in the overhead luggage rack above you or in the luggage space in your carriage.

Does the stroller also fit in other modes of transportation?

Well, I’ve tested a variety of transports with the Babyzen.
