Today we’re celebrating the launch of the new model of the YOYO stroller !
The YOYO 3 !
With the takeover of the Babyzen brand by Norwegian company Stokke, the brand has decided to release a new version of the YOYO stroller.
The YOYO3, the very latest version of the YOYO stroller, was launched worldwide in August 2024.
And with a host of new features that make the YOYO stroller even more efficient, comfortable and safe.
So what’s new?
What are the differences between the YOYO 2 and the YOYO 3 ?

What’s new in the YOYO 3 stroller by Stokke ?
This new 2024 version of the Stroller corrects a few shortcomings and also adds new features that make it even more practical for everyday use.
I’ve identified 7 improvements and differences from version 2, which I’ll detail below!
Personally, I love it! And you’re going to love it!
A canopy extension to better protect baby from the sun
The first improvement is an excellent idea!
The canopy has been extended in the 0+ and 6+ versions to protect baby better from the sun.
Even though the YOYO 2 provided good coverage for baby in the 0+ and 6+ versions, with the new, larger canopy your baby won’t be bothered by the sun’s rays when you’re out and about!
✅ A big plus that makes all the difference! Well done to Stokke for this great idea.
You can always complete the sun protection with a YOYO parasol if you wish.
The addition of a ventilation window at the top of the stroller to keep baby cooler
Another excellent idea !
Sometimes it gets hot in the stroller (and that goes for all non-stokke strollers), and this new version of the YOYO adds a ventilated area at the top of the stroller at canopy level.
Perfect for keeping baby cool on hot days !

Greater capacity for the lower storage basket
This new version of the YOYO stroller increases the total weight of the storage basket located at the bottom of the stroller !
The maximum load has been increased from 5kg to 10kg.
And above all, without increasing the weight of the YOYO stroller, which makes it as light as ever !
A new colour for the Stroller !
Stokke didn’t wait long before releasing a gorgeous new colour for the YOYO 3.
A collaboration with children’s brand Bonpoint.
As with the Air France colour, you can now also dress up your stroller with the YOYO x Bonpoint colour.
This new version is only available on the official stokke website or from official retailers.
You can now personalise your stroller with 9 different colours for the YOYO.
Don’t worry, you can still use your YOYO 2 colour packs on the YOYO 3 😉
Reflective wheels for the night
One of the best ideas of this new model.
The wheels are now reflective at night, just like road signs !
A great idea for evening or early morning rides, so you can be seen by cars and bikes !
✅ Another great idea to make you and your baby safer. I can only agree with it 200% !
Just to clarify, as the wheels are no longer the same, you will no longer be able to use the YOYO 2 wheel models for the YOYO 3. The same applies to YOYO 3 wheels for the YOYO 2.
If you want to change the wheels on the YOYO, you’ll need to choose the right stroller wheels for your model.
A better seat for baby
And yes, you’re not dreaming, even though the YOYO was already very comfortable, version 3 improves baby’s comfort even further with a brand new seat.
This new seat has :
- a new top comfort pillow
- better ventilation of the Stroller
- a higher backrest
- mesh strap protectors
- a new place to adjust the Stroller’s 5-point safety harness.
In general, the baby seat has been lengthened to suit babies who want to keep it longer in the 6+ version !
✅ All these new features will make your baby even more comfortable during your outings.
Improved wheel suspension for better handling
The YOYO 3 stroller features 4-wheel suspension (Hytrel® elastomer technology) and the same ‘Soft Drive’ system as the YOYO 2.
But with adjustments to make it even smoother to drive on different types of terrain.
The result is even greater comfort for baby on your travels.
Even though the Stroller was already very comfortable for baby.
I went to Venice with the YOYO 2 Stroller.
I can guarantee that vibrations are not a problem !

I’d also like to point out that the YOYO3 stroller is still compatible with cosies from other brands such as Cybex or Pebble.
You can therefore use cosy seats from other brands on the chassis of the stroller, but only certain models!

Is the YOYO 3 stroller still accepted in the aircraft cabin ?
The answer is a resounding YES !
The size of the YOYO 3 does not change and it is therefore still accepted as cabin baggage in the aircraft.
In 2 seconds you can fold your stroller and the YOYO will be with you on the plane !
Some airlines consider the YOYO stroller as hand baggage, while others offer this supplement if your baby is under 2 years old.
There are all sorts of specific requirements for strollers, depending on the airline.

My opinion of the YOYO 3 from STOKKE
So how does the YOYO 3 compare with the YOYO 2 ?
Well, I could already only recommend the YOYO 2 from Babyzen.
Now I can only recommend this new version of the stroller from Stokke.
They’ve managed to improve on the best stroller in the world by making it even safer, more practical and more comfortable for you and your baby on a daily basis.
I wish the competition every success in competing with this new, even better YOYO stroller !
A 20/20 on the YOYO 3 stroller
Is it still possible to buy the YOYO 2 vs. the YOYO 3 ?
Well, from August 2024 (date of the launch of the YOYO 3) only the YOYO 3 will be sold and available to order online from the official website.
However, you can still find leftovers on partner websites selling the YOYO, such as Amazon.
But after a few months, the new YOYO 2 will no longer be available for purchase.
All the stock will have been sold out.
However, you can still find the old YOYO used on private sales platforms.
