Which car seats are compatible with the YOYO stroller ?
YOYO STOKKE offers an official YOYO cosy for its stroller, the YOYO Car seat BeSafe.
However, if you’re on this page, it’s because you’re looking for another car seat compatible with the YOYO 3 (the YOYO currently marketed by Stokke).
There are several cosy and car seats that can be fitted to the YOYO stroller. Most are French brands and must be fitted to the YOYO chassis using the brand’s official car seat adapter.
But which car seats from these brands can replace the YOYO cozy and fit on the YOYO chassis?
Not all car seats are universal accessories for strollers.
I have to admit that browsing the internet, it’s not easy to find out exactly which car seats are compatible with our YOYO.
Luckily I’ve done the work for you 😉 and with photos to back it up to show you that these models work perfectly with the YOYO.
So here’s the list of car seats compatible with the YOYO stroller, whether it’s the 6+ pack or the YOYO double connect.
The Cybex Aton range: compatible with the YOYO stroller
To put it simply, ALL of the Cybex Aton range are compatible with the YOYO chassis 🙂
I actually own one for my YOYO stroller 😉
But I’m going to go through all the YOYO-compatible Cybex car seats one by one.
Cybex Aton S2 i-Size: compatible with the YOYO stroller
With the specific YOYO adapters, of course, but the same goes for all other brands’ cozy buggies that want to fit the YOYO.
The ISOFIX base that goes with it is called ‘Base One’.
Cybex Aton B2 i-Size: compatible with the YOYO stroller
As with the S2, the Aton B2 i-Size is 100% compatible with the YOYO Stokke.
This model also uses the same ‘Base One’ ISOFIX base.
The Cybex Cloud range: compatible with the YOYO stroller
To put it simply, as with the Cybex Aton, the ENTIRE range of Cybex Clouds are compatible with the YOYO chassis 🙂
Whether it’s the Cloud T i-Size, Cloud G, Cloud Z or Cloud Z 2, they’re all compatible with the YOYO 3 (STOKKE) YOYO 2 (BABYZEN) chassis.
Cybex Cloud G i-Size: 100% compatible with the YOYO 3 stroller and also the YOYO 2
Also known simply as the Cybex Cloud G i-Size or Cybex Gold Coque Cloud G i-Size, this model is 100% compatible with the YOYO stroller using the official YOYO connectors.
Cybex Cloud T i-Size: 100% compatible with the YOYO 3 and YOYO 2 stroller
One of the latest models from the iconic Cybex brand, the Cybex Cloud T i-Size cosy is compatible with the YOYO 2 and YOYO 3 strollers from Stokke.
This model is highly regarded for its comfort for baby and its ease of use until baby is 24 months old.
I can’t recommend this model highly enough.
To install the Cybex Cloud T in your car, you can also use an isofix T base.
For Cybex, it’s very easy to know which base goes with which model.
A G model will use a G base
A T model will use a T base.
And so on 😉
The only exception is Cybex’s Aton car seats, which use the ‘One’ isofix base.
Cybex Cloud Z: baby cosy compatible with the YOYO
Maxi-Cosi Pebble, Pebble Plus, Pebble Pro: compatible with the YOYO stroller
The entire Maxi Cosi Pebble range is compatible with the YOYO Babyzen stroller 😊
So the :

- Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus
are all compatible with the YOYO Stokke Stroller.
I’m going to take you through the 3 car seats that can be fitted to the YOYO Stokke chassis.
Maxi-Cosi Pebble I-Size
The Maxi-Cosi Pebble Pro car seat, also known as the Maxi-Cosi Pebble S i-Size, is 100% compatible with the YOYO stroller.
Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360
The Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 car seat is 100% compatible with the YOYO stroller.
Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus
The Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus car seat is 100% compatible with the YOYO stroller.
Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix i-Size
One of the very first car seats compatible with the YOYO 2 stroller and still compatible with the YOYO 3 with the official YOYO adapters.
Other car seats compatible with the YOYO stroller but not sold in the UK
BeSafe iZi Go Modular X1: compatible with the YOYO stroller
There’s no doubt about this model.
And why is that?
Because YOYO outsources the creation of its official car seat to ErgoBabby.
The Ergobabby brand offers a car seat called BeSafe iZi Go Modular X1.
This is why the Cosy YOYO model is also called BeSafe, as it comes from the same brand.
Cybex Aton 5 : compatible with the YOYO stroller
Clek Liing : compatible with the YOYO stroller
As you can see in the video below, the Clek Liing infant car seats are compatible with the YOYO stroller.
Which adaptor do I need to fit a cozy to my YOYO ?
If you want to buy one of the COZY models compatible with the YOYO, you owe it to yourself to buy the adapters.
These YOYO cozy adapters allow you to fit one of the best car seats from another brand directly onto the chassis of your YOYO Stokke.
Are YOYO 2-compatible cosy models still compatible with the Stokke YOYO 3 ?
Yes, as you know, Babyzen was bought by the Norwegian brand Stokke, which now owns the YOYO stroller.
As a result, the YOYO 3 has been sold by Stokke since August 2024.
And with it a large number of new modifications to the YOYO 3 compared with the YOYO 2.
But it’s all for the better, because we’re improving on perfection ;).
As for the cosy compatible with the YOYO 3, well the list is the same, because the YOYO 3 stroller still uses the same adapters for cosy.
So if a cosy is YOYO 2 compatible, then it will be 100% compatible with the YOYO 3.
What are the prerequisites for using a cozy from another brand with the YOYO stroller ?
To use a car seat from another brand on the YOYO Babyzen stroller, there are 3 prerequisites to consider:
- Ensure that the car seat is compatible with the YOYO Babyzen stroller.
- Purchase the official cozy adapters for the YOYO stroller, which are initially intended for the YOYO Car Seat (the official car seat of the brand).
- Purchase the approved Isofix base from the chosen cozy brand. The Isofix base sold by YOYO is only functional with the YOYO Car Seat.
Isofix bases are unique to each brand.
Which Cybex car seat for YOYO ?
All models of car seats from the Cybex brand are compatible with the YOYO Babyzen stroller.
However, to use the car seat on the YOYO stroller, you will need to use the official YOYO car seat adapters.
These adapters are compatible with Cybex products.
Can I use the Babyzen Isofix base with another cozy ?
The Isofix base sold by the Babyzen brand is specifically designed for the BeSafe car seat model, which is the official model of the YOYO brand.
This Isofix base is not compatible with all other cozy models due to safety reasons.
If you want to choose another car seat model for your YOYO, you will need to choose an Isofix base from the same brand as the chosen car seat.
Can I fit a Cybex or Maxi-cosi cosy on a YOYO+, i.e. the older version of YOYO ?
If you have a previous generation YOYO+ or YOYO 2, i.e. the one before the YOYO 3 (the one currently on sale), then you can fit a YOYO-compatible Cybex cosy or one of the other brands mentioned above on the YOYO+ chassis.
In fact, the chassis is the same for both versions, so the adapters for fitting a cosy on the YOYO are the same.
As a result, the YOYO+ is compatible with the list of car seats mentioned above.

Please note that to fit another brand of cosy to a YOYO 2 or YOYO 3 stroller, you will need the official brand adapters, which are shown below:
Without them, you won’t be able to fit the cosy on the stroller.
These are the same adapters used to fit the official YOYO cosy.
For example, if you want to fit a Cybex car seat on the YOYO, you must never use the Cybex adapters, but rather the YOYO adapters to fit the cosy on the YOYO stroller.
